Last month six died from torrential rain in Rio de Janeiro. This time it was 95. Parts of  my street in central Tijuca look like a muddy cart track.
And back in Blue USA:

As New England residents continue the clean up from the latest round of disastrous flooding, researchers at the University of New Hampshire commissioned by Clean Air-Cool Planet found these calamities are part of a long-term trend of extreme precipitation.

The IPCC says this is all going to get much worse. So it can´t be happening,
